In Spring 2005 Target Living was approached by the Developers of London’s elite development “The Knightsbridge” to design an exciting Studio apartment.

Target Living’s brief was to introduce a more contemporary feel to the already existing palette and choices in the building. A series of other apartments, ranging in size, had previously been designed by other leading Interior designers.

Bernerd and her partner Griem are renowned for their bold style, strong use of colour and understanding of space. These strengths are the signature of Target Living and provided the essential ingredients of this London Studio apartment.

The attention to lifestyle here was key. It was important to appreciate all the potential demands of such a small space in terms of use, and then incorporate them all into the design.

Target Living’s approach to the layout was fundamental, creating different areas, indeed territories, for varying uses i.e. sleeping, eating and relaxing. Features then introduced included a raised white lacquer platform for the bed area, a moody tinted mirror and screen fringe curtains.

The palette boasts a rich blend of charcoal greys and bright oranges, with a mix of indulgent materials. The outcome is a unique London Studio. Officially launched September 2005.
